Privacy policy

American Mineral Registry runs this website. This policy says what the site collects, why, and who else handles it.

What we collect

Only what you type into our two forms. On the request form: your answers about the interest (its type, whether it produces, where it is, its size and income, how you came to own it and when you might sell), any detail you add, your name, phone number and email, and how and when you prefer to be contacted. On the research message form: your message, the page it concerns, any source you cite, and the name and email you give.

The form does not accept documents. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

Who handles it

Form submissions reach our inbox through Web3Forms, a form delivery service that processes them for us. If you search a county in the production lookup, your browser sends the state and county you typed to our data service at api.americanmineralregistry.com, and nothing else.

Our host, Cloudflare, processes the technical data that every web request carries, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and protect the site. The calculators and the dormant mineral rule finder run in your browser and send nothing.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your request, to contact you about it by the means you chose, and to approach buyers about your interest when you ask us to. With the consent you give on the form, we share the details of your interest and your contact details with buyers we approach, so that they can make you an offer.

Messages sent through the research form are used only to reply and to correct the research, and are never shared with buyers. We do not sell your personal information.

What stays on your device

The request form keeps your answers in your browser’s session storage, so a reload does not lose them, until you send the form or close the tab. The research tools store nothing.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to sharing it. Use the research message form, choose “A question about the research” and say what you would like done.
